Charlottesville Porch Portraits Photo Sponsorship
Sponsor a photo in the Charlottesville Porch Portraits exhibition at Second Street Gallery!
Each $50 sponsorship helps offset the cost of image printing and mounting, which in turn allows the artists to gift the photographs to the families featured as portrait subjects, following the close of the exhibition. Each sponsorship will also address additional exhibition expenses, including artwork installation, signage, and related programming. Sponsors will be acknowledged for their support on the Charlottesville Porch Portraits exhibition website.
THE FIRST 100 SPONSORS WILL BE OFFERED ONE COMPLIMENTARY TICKET TO THE EXHIBITION PREVIEW PARTY. This event will take place on Thursday, April 3, from 5:30–7:30PM. Sponsorship opportunities for the remaining photographs will be available through the run of the exhibition, but only the first 100 sponsors will be offered an opportunity to attend the preview party.
The Charlottesville Porch Portraits exhibition features Charlottesville-based photographers Ézé Amos, Tom Day, Kristen Finn, John Robinson, and Sarah Cramer Shields. The project, which produced over 1,000 photographs taken during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, offered community members a chance to see and interact with one another while in lockdown. Previously, these photos were only shown on Instagram; the exhibition at Second Street Gallery will be the first time this collaborative project is shared in a public presentation.
Review available sponsor options from the dropdown menu below. This is a unique opportunity to support the gallery, our artists, and your neighbors. We hope you’ll join us in this special effort to sustain the local arts community!
